As an apprentice you will be tasked with managing all aspects of IT Support services, assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly backups, maintaining IT systems and software and much more You will be immersed in all aspects of the IT world and given all the tools to build a long and successful career
In this role, you’ll work towards your **Level 3 Information, Communications Technician,** delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
**A Typical Day in the Job**:
- Manage all aspects of IT support services, including laptops, servers, and the network
- Assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly backups of systems, alongside disaster recover assistance
- To maintain IT systems and software, ensuring they are kept up to date
- Maintain the hardware and software inventory including assisting with the installation, configuration, and upgrades of both
- Respond swiftly and efficiently to all user support queries including from both internal and external sources via a range of communication channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on the desktop/network infrastructure as required
- Assist with security processes for example password resets, group policies and encryption
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:
- £15,000-£20,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
- 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
