*Housekeeper/Cleaning*

National Star’s housekeeping team has played a critical role in keeping young people with complex disabilities safe and well during the pandemic.

This role is based at one of our student residences in Gloucester. Working as part of the friendly Site Services and residential teams, our housekeepers/cleaners are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness of their allocated areas, always following our infection control guidelines.

The working hours for this role are 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday term time only, working either 9.00 am - 2pm , 9.30am - 2.30pm or 10.00 am - 3.00 pm.

Key areas of responsibility include:
Following daily, weekly and termly checklists of cleaning duties, including periodic deep cleans to promote a high standard of cleanliness.

Cleaning student residences including bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, kitchens/kitchenettes, windows and communal and staff areas

Ensuring accidental spillages and hazards are dealt with appropriately in line with health and safety policies

Ensuring soap and hand sanitiser dispensers are stocked and in good working order

Have a working knowledge of how to adhere to the safe handling of substances, adhering to COSSH procedures.
