Mobile Response Officer

RedWatch Security Ltd was incorporated in 2007 and has been providing the United Kingdom with a national security coverage in Manned Guarding. We also operate a 24-hour mobile response unit, running for over eight years.

RedWatch Security Ltd is looking for outstanding, professional Security officers to work alongside our in-house team. Working within our essential security team, you will be the main point of contact for our clients within our portfolio.

**Employment Type**:Zero-Hour Contract

**Hours and/or Shift Patterns**:Monday to Thursday 1500 to 2100 or Friday to Sunday 0700 to 1900

**Key Responsibilities**
- To attend work smartly and correctly dressed
- Be responsible for the RedWatch Security Ltd mobile services issued vehicle throughout the shift
- Be responsible for the RedWatch Security Ltd mobile services issued mobile phone throughout the shift
- Completion of all necessary paperwork associated with BS7984 and BS7499 Standards
- Report any issues with the RedWatch Security Ltd issued Mobile Phone
- Report any issues with the RedWatch Security Ltd issued response vehicle.
- Report any accidents and/or incidents to the client and your Line Manager
- Follow all Assignment Instructions when carrying out patrols and/or alarm attendance
- Inform your Line Manager of any relevant changes required to assignment instructions or keyholding information
- Ensure any holiday requests are booked with a minimum of 28 days notice
- Take responsibility of all keys in relation to key holding contracts for the duration of your shift
- Carry out checks in line with British Standards at the commencement and end of each shift
- To complete a handover with your Line Manager at the beginning and end of your shift.

Due to high demand, annual leave requested from 1st December to 1st January will not be accepted unless express authorization is sought from your Line Manager for exceptional circumstances. Time and Half is paid for all UK Bank Holidays if worked, deemed to run from midnight to midnight. We also offer a competitive work-place pension which is optional and you are entitled to opt-out.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience**:At the commencement of your employment, you will receive training shifts and as your employment progresses, your skills may be extended to encompass new job role activities within the business. It is a condition of your employment that you participate in any training deemed necessary by RedWatch Security Ltd for you to reach the required levels of standard.

Previous experience is desired but not required.

SIA Licence is essential for this role.

**PPE Required**:Steel toe boots, Hi-Vis
**Pay Rate**:£9.50 - £9.75 per hour, paid on a monthly basis in line with our PAYE Scheme

**PLEASE NOTE, WE OPERATE A THREE MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD, IN WHICH YOUR TRAINING SHIFTS WILL BE PAID AFTER THE FULL PROBATIONARY PERIOD HAS BEEN COMPLETED**

**Salary**: £9.75-£10.00 per year
