Our client is an independently owned trading house with a track record of substantial growth and profit delivery. With international scope, our client works tirelessly to support the UK's demand for energy and relies heavily on their ability to predict marketconditions.
As a result of continuedgrowth and expansion, the opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Scientist to work as part of their exceptional team to work on market leading forecasts of key market drivers.
**The Role**
As Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing forecasts and data tools to better our clients understanding of the factors which drive the markets in which they operate and continually look for opportunities to develop novel trading strategiesto deliver an outstanding trading performance.
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Developing models to improve understanding of pertinent market forces
- Forecasting the behaviour of the key players who influence market conditions
- Testing and developing model-based trading strategies
- Developing forecasts of other key drivers of market forces
- Principally work with white-box models, working closely with traders to aid their abilities to understand and interpret your models and their predictions.
- Hands on coding

This is a dynamic and rapidly growing space - our client is looking for someone with experience in a similarly cutting-edge industry to support their continued growth. If you hold qualifications in a quantitative science - Maths, Statistics, Physics, Actuarial
- and at least two years' experience of working in a similar role then we want to hear from you.
