Our fantastic partner school in Leatherhead, Surrey are looking to build a team of energetic, enthusiastic and positive Teaching Assistants to support their pupils. The school caters for primary and secondary pupils with complex social communication needs.This is a brilliant opportunity to be a part of something new, and to start or continue your career in education.

You need to have great communication skills as well as a confidentand outgoing nature. You must be good at thinking on your feet and able to multitask.
This can be a challenging role, but is extremely rewarding. You will be helping vulnerable young people to reach ther goals as well as providing emotional support and a helping hand during the school day.
**Teaching Assistant (Unqualified) Responsibilities :**:

- Support learners with special educational needs both academically and emotionally.
- Be open to learning new skills everyday.
- Establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils in order to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the school.
- Encourage independence and personal development in pupils and maintain high expectations of behaviour at all times.
- Contribute to providing high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and experiences through supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aiming at pupils achieving their full potential in all areas of learning.
- To promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.

**Teaching Assistant (Unqualified) Requirements**:

- Must be enthusiastic to learn and develop your skills
- Be commutable to Leatherhead, Surrey.
- Someone with a bubbly and happy personality.
- Able to engage with others well using fantastic communication skills.
- Be dedicated to supporting pupils within special education.
