**Job Purpose**:
- To ensure the Warehouses are a safe working environment for staff, clients, visitors and goods.
- To ensure that Fine Art Technicians are supervised so that art works are handled to company standards and safety procedures are observed.
- Manage and optimise the efficiency of storage areas.
- To ensure all security procedures are observed.
**Key Tasks**:
DAY TO DAY SUPERVISION OF WAREHOUSE TECHNICIANS:
- Completion of daily register.
- Allocation of jobs to technicians.
- Fully describing the job in hand to technicians defining specific requirements and set time parameters.
- Affect changes to the planned days running as required.
- Arrange staff overtime if required.
- Periodic checking throughout the day to ensure that staff are effectively occupied and working safely.
- Ensuring staff adhere to proper rest breaks.
**ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES**:
- Searching for Activities and objects using AMS database.
- Administrate Momart Aviation Security procedures
- Printing and processing Activity worksheets.
- Driver folders cross-check against Warehouse Activity worksheets and label allocation.
- Initiate the next working day plan for techs.
**OVERSEEING WAREHOUSE PROCEDURES**:
- Daily communication with other supervisors and technicians to see the completion of the daily workload.
- Supervising large projects such as Exhibitions, Art Fairs, movements of stock, client audits and developments such as rack building and alterations.
- Daily Warehouse inspections, completing or supervising any remedial work required.
- Weekly Warehouse quality inspections and assessments, listing required improvements.
- Communication of the inspections and assessments with Warehouse Manager to ascertain an ordered action plan.
- Supervising the action plan when technicians are available.
- Supervision of the release and receipt of Artworks to outside agents complete Customs procedures as required.
- Oversee jobs are accurately administered and inform co-ordinator for updates as required.
- Oversee labelling, booking in procedure, location allocation of works as appropriate.
- Supervision of the loading and unloading of Momart vehicles, ensuring all jobs are administered correctly.
- Oversee that the security of the site is maintained and access to all Warehouse is restricted to authorised staff, authorised clients and visitors.
**Skills & personal qualities**:
- Administrative excellence with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain clear and concise records.
- Excellent Computer Literacy.
- Well-developed numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills to use within our organisation and with external parties.
- Flexible and co-operative approach to work: willingness to work as a team member
- Experience in a similar role within the shipping/specialist removals industry.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of Momart’s security programme and their role in it.
- Assists colleagues, customers and suppliers in resolving security issues and escalating where necessary.

Pay: From £18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
