**About Us**:
We are a fast-growing clothing factory based in East London, supplying high-quality garments to a range of UK brands. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment, we are looking for a reliable and proactive Building Maintenance Operative to join our team on a part-time basis.

**Job Summary**:
The Building Maintenance Operative will be responsible for the general upkeep, repairs, and routine maintenance of the factory premises. This role is essential in ensuring our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functioning efficiently to support daily operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct general repairs and maintenance across the building (e.g. doors, lighting, plumbing, minor carpentry and painting).
- Perform routine inspections of key areas such as the production floor, break rooms, toilets, and storage areas.
- Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.
- Support with emergency repairs as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workshop and equipment storage area.
- Carry out basic groundskeeping duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in general building maintenance or facilities management.
- Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or carpentry work.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
