**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of meals, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is prepared and stored safely, minimising the risk of contamination.
- Support the culinary team during busy periods by helping with plating, garnishing, and serving dishes as needed.
- Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Help with catering events by preparing food items according to speci.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to develop culinary skills further.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
