**What you'll get up to as a Data Quality Analyst
This new role will support our Head of Data Governance to ensure the successful implementation of a robust Data Quality Framework and Service Model. The role will provide expertise in all aspects of data quality becoming an SME, helping to embed a capabilityacross the business that will provide assurance and trust in our data.

This is a varied position, ensuring that we have trusted data to be exploited by the business.You will help to develop data quality policies, processes, and procedures, shaping our new data quality solution.You will profile our data, presenting the resultsto help all stakeholders to understand the health of their data. You will be pivotal in data standards creation & management, business glossary creation & management and the identification, investigation and resolution of data issues.

**What we look for in you
- A strong understanding of DQM, its practices, tools and techniques.
- Proven experience in contributing to the development and implementation of a Data Quality Framework.
- Familiarity with data governance and how data quality interfaces with a Data Governance Framework.
- Broader data management understanding, demonstrating how data governance and data quality fits within the data management ecosystem.
- Strong demonstrable analysis experience with a background in business analysis.
- Demonstrable experience of working with Data Stewards and Data Custodians to analyse and resolve data issues.
- Experience of one or more data quality tools.
- Experience of capturing business rules and translating them into data rules.
- Demonstrable experience of investigating and resolving DQ issues, including conducting root cause analysis.
- Ability to champion data management best practice across Animal Friends, inspiring others.

**Desirable**:

- A DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or working towards CDMP.
- Experience of conducting data quality in a cloud environment.
- Previous experience of building queries in SQL to profile data.
- Familiarity with dashboards for data quality reporting, preferably Power BI.
- Experience of delivering data quality related training.
- Previous experience of selecting and implementing data quality tools.
- Some familiarity with ISO 8000.
