The Senior Software Consultant's primary responsibilities will include driving the strategic planning, enhancement and implementation of our business systems. You will deliver data management and reporting excellence across the business. You will be involved in collaborating cross-functionally in implementing technology solutions aligned with company objectives, as well as delivering robust IT infrastructure & cyber security through third-party partnerships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading and prioritising technology initiatives in line with business requirements and strategic goals. Collaborating with the Head of Technology & Marketing and the Senior Management Team to align plans and demonstrate leadership / decision making.
- Ensuring daily operational functionality of key business systems, addressing fast-moving requests and planning for long-term solutions.
- Managing key technology suppliers and assisting customers with technology excellence.
- Control of the systems stack and decision making in regards to data warehousing, reporting & IT infrastructure requirements.
- Overseeing alongside the Technology team end-to-end implementation of IT infrastructure, systems, data, and reporting projects.
- Developing the technology team to ensure the team are skilled to deal with any projects under the technology work stack.
- Employing agile project management & change management methodologies to ensure efficient and effective execution.
- Fostering strong communication and collaboration across departments, touching all areas of the business and demonstrating strong internal relationships/network.
- Continuously challenging and seeking opportunities to challenge the norm, drive business growth, innovation, reduce waste and streamline processes whilst holding a strong commercial viewpoint.
- Ensuring cyber security and a future proofed IT infrastructure by engaging with third-party experts for implementation and staying updated on best practices.
- Working closely with the Technology Manager to align technology roadmap with company objectives and ensuring work is delegated effectively within the overall team. This Technology Manager role has the final decision making in regards to the systems requirements when collaborating alongside the co Technology Manager.

To be successful in this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in Business Management or Computer Science, along with proven experience in a similar role. You should also possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and excellent leadership qualities.
