Weighbridge Operative

**Description**:
We are seeking to recruit a Weighbridge Operator at our site in Bourne.

In this role you will be loading/unloading vehicles in accordance with company procedure whilst Ensuring that all loads are in good condition and suitable for customers.You will also work alongside Production operatives to maintain a safe, working environment

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring your own health and safety and that of others and promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace
- Ensure all Health and safety obligations are met, and company policies are adhered
- Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents in a timely manner to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence
- Update Weighbridge system on a daily basis to ensure that all stock levels are correct
- Ensure that the correct material is loaded, cross referencing the Weighbridge system
- Liaise with the Sales department if issues arise with goods dispatched, and make sure that the correct paperwork is sent
- This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role_

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in weight readings and data entry.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with weighbridge software and hardware systems.
- Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Efficient record-keeping and time management.
- Basic Math Skills: Calculate weights and verify loads.
