We are seeking experienced **Learning Disability Support Workers**(both male and female) to join our growing friendly team to provide regular support in and around Tamworth, Lichfield and surrounding areas. Hours and days of work will vary on a rota basis and so flexibility is essential (day shifts / late shifts / sleep-in shifts and some weekend shifts as part of a rota system)
You must have enthusiasm, drive and the desire to make a difference, as well as to be flexible, patient and able to view situations from a service user’s perspective. Situations can sometimes be difficult and challenging, so you’ll need to be non-judgemental, with a sensitive approach and a good understanding of how to meet complex needs related to learning disability, Autism and physical impairment.
Responsibilities include providing support and assistance to our clients with personal care, domestic related tasks, as well as facilitating access to social, vocational and leisure based activities both within their homes and within the local community.
**Our Company -**Established by two Occupational Therapists with an extensive background of practice within community learning disability services. Our company provides modern, creative and innovative support for adults with learning disabilities and / or mental health difficulties across a variety of settings.
**Shift patterns to include days / late shifts / sleep-in shifts and some weekend shifts as part of a rota system. Applicants MUST be flexible to work all shift patterns.**
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
