We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough for a Creative Tutor to become a key member of our Study Skills department.
This exciting role will involve you to plan and deliver Creative courses across a range of levels in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner, supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment.
You will work with other lecturers to raise the learning and attainment of young people, while promoting their social inclusion, self-esteem and independence. Ensure all students are provided with the most appropriate level of support to assist them to access the curriculum, participate in learning and fulfil their potential.
You will need to be able to use your own initiative while supporting learners, dealing with situations with tact and empathy. The need to be flexible in your approach is imperative. You will need to be qualified to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and ideally have an experience of working with people with SEN.
This opportunity would suit either experienced lecturers or graduates with a willingness to undertake the appropriate development.

The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the Department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position including updating ProMonitor and contributing to EHCP outcomes.
Enhanced criminal records with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
