**Role:Energy Procurement Analyst**

**Location: Home based/Dartford**

**Salary: £30K - £40K DOE**

**Summary**:
We are working with an international consultancy who are looking for an Energy Procurement Analyst who will provide energy procurement services to **European based clients**. You will negotiate the best procurement deals for European customers and ensure the on-boarding and processes of contracts is as efficient as possible**.**If you have analytical experience gained within the energy industry with the ability to **analyse and manage large and complex data sets,** we would love to hear from you

**Key responsibilities**:

- Fixed and Flexible supply contract negotiation and contract management
- Process energy supply contracts from suppliers, resolving queries and meeting deadlines
- Analyse offers, make recommendations to highlight added value benefits of the process
- Maintain relationships and communicate regularly with suppliers and clients
- Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of the European regulatory markets
- Understand your client’s needs and create and support optimal products and services
- Play an active role negotiating with energy suppliers to resolve credit issues
- Support client on-boarding
- Support the development of strategy, risk management strategies, PPA and vPPA contracts

**Skills and experience required**:

- Outstanding numerical skills and ability to analyse and manage large and complex data sets
- 3 or more years’ experience in an analytical role within the energy industry
- Ability to identify problems and resolve them swiftly
- Outstanding attention for details
- An excellent team player able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Self-starter, who likes to get the job done properly first time
- **Able to speak additional European languages (German, Polish, Dutch etc) is highly beneficial**:

- Advance knowledge of Excel (vlookup, index match, etc.)
- Degree level - Economics, Finance, Maths, Business, Engineering, etc.
