**Complex Needs Support Worker**

We are looking to recruit exceptional support workers to join our dedicated team of staff at the Good Companions Care at Home Agency.

Complex needs are not easily defined. They depend on the individual and their situation and are often referred to as 'multiple unmet needs'. Complex needs can be viewed as a framework for understanding multiple, interlocking needs that span health and social issues including support from care agencies.

**Job Title** - Complex needs support worker (Waking Nights)

**Salary** - Starting £32,000 per annum (Based on 48 hour excluding bonus scheme)

**Hours** - Fulltime / Part time

**Location** - Carlsile or Penrith, and the surroundings in those areas

- Qualifications - Care certificate standards / SVQ level 3 Care or ability to achieve this within a set timescale Experience.
- Previous experience of working with a range of individuals with a learning disability/Motor Neurone Disease/complex needs Skills and Abilities.

- Able to understand the needs and ambitions of individuals with communication challenges.
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to support people in leading ordinary healthy and valued lives.
- Able to share knowledge and to coach and mentor colleagues.

The Complex Needs Support Worker will assist the client in the provision of direct support as outlined in the individuals Support Plans and ensure that all support provided is of the highest possible quality of person-centred care.
