**More about your role**

As an Estate Officer you will promote a safe and secure living environment for our customers, in line with Health and Safety law and Living+ policies. This role does include some hands on tasks such as painting and decorating of communal areas, low level repairs and maintenance and the arrangement of rubbish/ fly tipping to be removed. You will also assist in the management of our properties and its surrounding areas, carry out tenancy change visits and conduct thorough inspections of our properties.

You will ensure any cleaning, grounds maintenance and other maintenance issues are dealt with promptly, liaising with relevant departments and our partner agencies. You will encourage a rapid response to vandalism, graffiti and litter ensuring these are reported to the relevant team or in some circumstances you will deal with these issues yourself.

**More about you**

Are you looking for a role that you can make a difference and be outdoors in the local community? Do you have experience working with vulnerable people and developing them and their future?

To be considered for this role you must be PC literate with a good working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office.

You will have experience working with vulnerable people in a community based role and demonstrate a thorough understanding of their needs. You will work closely with all of our customers and internal staff therefore strong communication skills and a great attitude are essential for this role. You should have experience working within a busy role and you should have a proven ability to prioritise your work load and work under pressure.

You must also have access to your own vehicle and hold a full driving license in order to be considered for this role as you will be expected to travel between the 3 sites that we have in the Sheffield area.
