Successful manufacturer of Control Panels in the Castleford area is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team.

**What is involved in the job?**

Working with an existing team that spans estimating, engineering and manufacturing, the Technical Sales Engineer will:

- Interpret customer requirements and specifications to develop wellconsidered, well-engineered and commercially sound proposals that address customer needs and secure work from new and existing customers;
- Develop and sustain longlasting customer relationships through excellent communication skills, to deliver high-levels of customer satisfaction;
- Contribute to the marketing and business development process within Bensons, to support business growth;
- Maintain a highlevel of customer service at all times, to facilitate repeat business; and
- Collaborate with colleagues in the development and improvement of business systems and processes.

**Skills and capabilities**

The successful applicant will already possess or have the appetite to acquire the followings skills that will underpin their success in the role:

- Successful consultative sales skills with the ability to negotiate when necessary;
- Motivated by solving problems;
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written;
- Sound electrical engineering capability;
- Familiar with operating in a technical environment;
- Able to interpret customer specifications and read electrical drawings; and,
- Numerate.
