**Automatic Door Engineer**
**Field Service Role - In & Around London**
**Monday - Friday 8am-5pm**
**£40,000 - £50,000 DOE**
My client have been well established for over 80 years providing a first class service in the installation and servicing of security equipment across London and the Home Counties and are currently looking for Automatic Door Engineer to join their growing team.
As an Automatic Door Engineer or Gate Engineer you will be working within the companies Maintenance Department across multiple sites. Your duties will consist of installation/servicing/maintaining and rectification of works on various premises across Londonon both a reactive and pre-planned basis.
Responsibilities as an Automatic Door Engineer
- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance
- Maintaining and repairing assets and building fabric
- Experience with working on the following assets, Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles, Floor barriers, roller shutters,
- Automatic sliding doors, swing doors and low energy doors
- Dealing effectively and safely with faults/breakdowns
- Complete tasks such as; fixing, Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles, Floor barriers, roller shutters.
- Complete tasks such as; fixing, Auto door, sensors and safety’s.
- Undertake reactive in hours call outs to multiple sites as required
Skills and Behaviors as an Automatic Door Engineer
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Self-motivated
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Good communication skill
- Accurate / legible paperwork skills for reporting
- Hold a full UK Driving licence
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have an understanding of Health and Safety procedures
