Established manufacturer for over 150 years our client is a leading manufacturing company in the Devon area specialising in bespoke product across a number of different industries.
What is the purpose of the CNC Machinist role?
- Setting and running all CNC & manual machines in section
- Ensuring ALL tooling /programs are available for start of production
- Programming of the full range of cages
- Tool grinding as required
- Performing tasks as directed in accordance with Quality System Procedures and manufacturing instructions
- Inspection during processing in accordance with instructions and workmanship standards
- To hit targets based on production needs.
- Identifying and recording any problems relating to the product or process on the documentation provided and informing the Production Supervisors accordingly
- Adhering to the requirements for non-conforming product, and assisting in corrective/preventive action as detailed within the company's procedures
What skills and experience will the CNC Machinist require?
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Setter/Operator: 5 years (preferred)
- Night shift (preferred)
