**Senior Merchandiser, Manchester, £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits**

This role is to lead the Merchandise team with ownership and day to day management to ensure & optimise availability, intake, service and stock levels in line with business demand needs.

**So, what's involved in the role?**

If you have worked within a Merchandising team previously, you will understand the skillset required for this role. You will be required to create, manage and own product category budget and strategy to deliver customer needs and brand segmentation.

You will also use your strong Financial and Commercial skills daily, providing forecasts with pin point accuracy.

You will lead supply base management, supporting sourcing strategy working closely with the buying functions to ensure the merchandising elements of the critical path are delivered and accurate as well as on time.

**What are we looking for?**

Ideally someone who has worked within and managed people at a Merchandiser or Senior Merchandiser level previously

An individual who has a degree would be beneficial but not essential

Strong Leadership skills with high commercial acumen, experience in developing and managing a budget
