Maintenance Worker

**Job Description**:
**We are currently looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our team at Endurance Care Kent.**
- General upkeep of the site including painting, minor woodwork, door handles, reactive works through damage.
- Ensuring the smooth operation and serviceability of all services.
- Work positively with the Home Manager, Estates Manager and Regional Manager to achieve outcomes for the longer-term tasks
- Liaising with Registered Manager, service managers and external contractors when they are on site to ensure works are completed on schedule.
- Identify concerns/issues on regular site walk arounds with RM and H+S Officer.
- Report and record jobs completed in handover to RM weekly.

**The Ideal Maintenance Person**

You should have the ability to work to with a high degree of autonomy but with the focus on getting works done in a timely manner. You will have proven experience of strong communication techniques with a wide variety of individuals - including the people we support.
- The ability to manage projects
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Good awareness of Health and Safety regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexible approach to working from time to time
- Experience in a maintenance role
- Ability to manage own workload
