**Handyperson (Part-Time)**

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a variety of trade skills looking to stay active and involved in a flexible, part-time role.

**Position: Handyperson (Part-Time)**

We’re seeking a **Handyperson** with experience in a range of trades to assist with general maintenance and facilities management. The role would suit someone semi-retired or looking for part-time work with a diverse range of tasks. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping our workspace clean, safe, and well-maintained, while also assisting with sign fabrication and installations when needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- General maintenance and upkeep of the workshop and yard areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and organisation
- Facilities management, including managing and prioritising maintenance requests
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, and general outdoor upkeep
- Painting of decking, walls, and other surfaces
- Repairing damage in rental properties and swapping white goods
- Unblocking drains, clearing gutters, and maintaining the exterior of the property
- Assisting with the setup and maintenance of sign fabrication and installations
- Meeting and coordinating with external tradesmen on site, ensuring all jobs are completed to standard
- Organising and planning annual maintenance tasks
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
- Responding to on-call maintenance needs when required
- Potential for overtime hours as needed

**Wider Business Coverage**:
In addition to our sign business, we manage a variety of **residential and commercial properties** across the **Highlands and Moray**. This role will involve supporting the maintenance and facilities management of these properties, offering a varied and interesting range of tasks across different locations.
- Experienced in multi-trade work, including electrical, woodworking, painting, and basic building
- Organised with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Flexible and able to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities
- Reliable with good communication skills
- Previous experience in similar roles is preferred, but not essential

**Work Schedule**:

- Part-time role**:2 days per week** (with the possibility of overtime and on-call work)
- Flexible working hours
