We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistants to join our team. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, person-centered care and support to our clients. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and ensure the overall well-being of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with mobility and transfers.
- Administer medication as prescribed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and behavior to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift patterns generally consist of;
- Sit in 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
- Daily calls 7am-6pm
- Bed calls 7pm-10:30pm
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ in Health and Social Care, are a plus.
