Job description

Henderson Setterfield, a successful independent Letting and Property Management Agency, is looking for an exceptional and ambitious Lettings Negotiator to join their busy offices in Broadstairs.

Lettings Negotiator Responsibilities

Although not an exhaustive list, the role would encompass the following duties:
Organise repairs for all properties, seeing the repair through from start to finish, including getting photographs from the completed job
Liaise with contractors
Liaise with Landlords/Tenants
Carry out viewings
Appraisals on new properties
Organise and carry out check out inspections
Liaise with the Lettings Administrator with the return of deposits
Market properties through the website, Zoopla, window cards, social media and any other forms of marketing which you are requested to do
Work with the accounts department to ensure they are fully briefed on all monies which are budgeted to be spent on properties
Take rent payments by phone
Ensuring the database and computer files for landlords, properties and tenants are kept up to date
Ensuring all paper files are kept up to date from the commencement to the end of each tenancy.
Any other reasonable duties which you are asked to do by the Director of the Company or the Director of Lettings/Office Manager.
- Knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel and databases
- Knowledge of lettings and the regulations of lettings is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Trustworthy and genuine persona
- Able to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
- Excellent communicator, verbally, written and face to face, with a smart, cheerful and professional appearance

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
