At St Albans Supported Living Service we offer day to day support to adults with Learning and Physical Disabilities. Part of your role will be to support the management team by managing the provision of a full range of administrative duties, deal with complex correspondence and all general matters in accordance to local procedures as well as management of local projects and corporate initiatives.

The role of Administrator is to support the management team in running the service smoothly and efficiently.

Duties involve a combination of the following tasks:

- Provide professional support to managers and senior staff, undertaking a diplomatic role dealing with confidential and sensitive matters, minute taking in meetings and compiling letters.
- Maintain confidentiality, respond to enquiries, telephone calls, and provide required information to internal and external customers.
- Manage utilisation of and provide expertise in software packages such as Microsoft Office, production of documentation according to local procedures and statutory/ legal requirements.
- Update and manage databases, spreadsheets, provide reports and compile information.
- Responsible for reporting of Health and Safety issues and maintenance of the building
- Supporting to organise staff training with Learning and development.
- To be able to prioritise workload and deal with emergency situations as they arise.
- Prepare and update financial risk assessments and financial budget plans as needed.
- Ensure archiving is carried out according to County policy.
- Ensure staff induction material is up to date and available as needed.

You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the people that live here and support your team. Contact with the people we support is an essential part of the role, some further information on the day-to-day responsibilities.
