**Web Developer - Wolverhampton/ Hybrid - £28,000- £35,000**

I am working with a design agency based in Wolverhampton going through an exciting transformation period, where they are looking for an experienced Wordpress Web Developer to play a key role in the business.
You will get the opportunity to take full autonomy on development, with further developers coming in to form a team around you. The owners will come to you for advice on how to carry out work, with you steering the overall technical direction of the company.You will play a key role in influencing projects moving forward.
Working for an exciting agency, you will get the opportunity to work with multiple clients to lots of different briefs. You will be involved in client meetings, communicate throughout projects and overall will be managing the client expectations.
Ideally, you will be able to work in their friendly office 3 days a week, however this may be negotiable depending upon location and experience.

**What you'll do as a Web Developer**:

- Take full autonomy on technical direction
- Convert designs to front-end websites, executing new features
- Develop and manage the website back-end, including database and server integration
- Develop WordPress themes and plugins
- Conduct website performance tests
- Monitor the performance of the website

**What you'll bring as a Web Developer**:

- Experience in creating commercial WordPress based websites
- Experience building bespoke WordPress themes
- Strong experience in HTML and CSS
- Ability to work with WooCommerce and custom development
- Previous experience using Advanced Custom Fields and Elementor,
- Background setting up tracking for social media, E-commerce, and Google AdWords Campaigns
- Excellent design conversion ability
- Agency experience - desirable
