An opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a Catering Assistant to work as part of our team in the Catering Department at Whitchurch Community Hospital.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated and flexible individual with good communication and interpersonal skills suited to the special needs of a hospital environment along with a commitment to provide a high quality catering service and work as part of a team.

The post holder will be required to work various shifts over a 7 day week in the Catering Department which provides food for inpatients, the staff dining room and other outside agencies.

Our day starts at 7 am ending the day at 4.30 pm. Both full days and part days are available and there is an opportunity to discuss at interview

This post also offers the opportunity for you to cover on an ad hoc basis for working a longside our experienced cooks with a view to band 3 enhancements in return for your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, working towards a certificate and being part of a team.
