This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Java Developer with Micro-services to join an established banking institution based in Central London.

They are actively looking for a Lead Java Developer to play a key role in a new project which is at an early stage.

This represents a unique opportunity to make important decisions on the technology side and have a major impact on the tech foundation that the company will be built on.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leverage state of the art technology
- Build out a new and highly optimised processing systems
- Build connectivity to various digital asset execution venues and custodians

**To be Ideal for the role**
- Experienced with Java, Spring Boot, Micro-services
- Should have solid experience in functional programming
- Able to write good micro-services using java
- At least 8 years of IT experience and 5 years of relevant experience
- Experienced in mentoring Juniors
- Strong communication skills
- Must be based in the UK
