**Job Opportunity**:
Our training team, and needs, are growing with the organization. The first in our UK/Europe region, the Training Specialist will be co-located with an amazing and collaborative local team in our UK/Europe office, and report to the VP of Global Training, who is based in the United States. Supporting our global claims team and claims operations in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, this role will create, document and execute the required training that includes onboarding, continuing education and topics such as systems, claims processes and insurance policies; as well as focus on the integration of quality management and the measurement process. As this role has insights into global procedures, it will also assist with the calibration of those processes and procedures. As needed, the Training Specialist will also provide support to other global teams in North America and Australasia.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop as needed, and oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
- Update and maintain training documentation in accordance with set standards and guidelines and for presentation to staff
- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
- Learn procedures to develop standard operating procedures, detailed work instruction, training guides and other training material
- Contribute to process efficiencies by providing input from learned procedures and interactions with staff
- Continuously engage with the Information Technology and Quality Assurance teams to learn and facilitate the training and documentation of system upgrades and rollouts.
- Utilize technology to develop and administer multi-media training tools for classroom, web, virtual and independent learning
- Develop and provide specialized training based on the need of individuals or a department
- Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in training development
- Collaborate with the company’s management to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions
- Provide support and mentoring for new hires while conducting an evaluation and identifying sections where improvements are needed
- As a global role, sometimes, this position will require flexibilty to accommodate work outside of normal, local working hours to meet the needs of a global business.

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in Commercial Insurance is required.
- Fluency in English is required, additional fluency in other languages such as German, French or Spanish, is preferred
- Preference is for a strong background in adult learning theory
- Prior experience working with training software tools to develop multi-media training programs preferred, Adobe Captivate experience is a bonus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a globally diverse group of individuals and executives
- Knowledge of appropriate training methodologies to accommodate a variety of learning styles
- Hands on style with problem-solving abilities and a solid attention to detail
- Excellent technology skills and comfort level with changing systems, including emerging automation techniques
- Ability to work independently and seek out information is vital
- Strong customer service orientation
- Quick learner with ability to adapt to changing environment
