An independent local community pharmacy

A fantastic opportunity to join a family run pharmacy, based in Higher Bebington, Wirral.

We are looking for an experienced dispenser to join our friendly team.

**Requirements**:
You will need to have a UK Pharmacy Dispensing qualification to NVQ level 2 or above, ideally along with a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.

Ideally a knowledge and experience of using the PMR system ‘Titan’, although training can be provided.

Be hardworking, self-motivated and able to work meticulously to a very high standard.

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment both individually and as part of an organised team.

Excellent telephone communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to help a patient.

Proficient with the use of computers.

Be enthusiastic and passionate about developing the pharmacy business.

Full UK clean driver’s license.

**Role Details**

Permanent: 40 hours per week, Part-Time hours considered

Monday to Friday: Between 8:30am-6:30pm and Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm (shift patterns to be discussed at interview)

Pay: Between £8-£10.75/hour (depending on experience)

**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Effective processing and dispensing of prescriptions
- Working independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective running of the dispensary
- Ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels
- Dispensing medicines into Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS)
- Solving queries by calling GP surgeries and patients by telephone

Full-time hours: 40 per week, part time hours will be considered

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.75 per hour
