Role Title: Sales Associate
Term of Employment: Full Time/Perm
Reports To: Store Manager
Department: Sales
Location: Thame
Hours: Monday - Friday (Flexible hours)

**Salary**: £20 - 30k (pro-rata for part-time hours)
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum including UK public and bank holidays

**Job Purpose**

To ensure the smooth running of the Thame store and all store-related activities, from taking orders and giving quality customer service through to resolving customer queries and working effectively in a team with the rest of the store staff.

**Essential Skills/Experience Desired Skills**
- SQP - highly desirable
- Attention to detail & methodical way of working
- Knowledge/background in farming/agriculture
- Excellent communication skills, written be provided & verbal
- Strong customer service skills & previous retail experience
- Experience of Microsoft Office retail experience packages; Outlook, Word, Excel
- Excellent telephone manner
- Flexible approach to assisting other team members
- Pro-active, willingness to learn
- Numeracy skills, able to work out GP %
- Able to make decisions independently

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- Serving customers at the counter in a professional and timely manner
- Ensuring store is kept in a clean and tidy manner, representing the company
- Booking out stock and dealing with any general enquires for customers/store
- Assisting customers in the shop and yard, helping load vehicles etc.
- Creating quotes for new and existing customers, being able to consider GP, discounts etc.
- Confidently follow up on quotes for customers, collaborating with head office on this
- SQP Only - Looking after product batch numbers, ensuring products/medicines are being stored correctly, appropriate temperatures and animal health processes are being followedThe role will be based in Milton Common, near Thame. Due to the requirements of this role, home working is not feasible.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Part-time

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
