As our new IT Programme Manager you will take responsibility for a programme of works which encompasses a number of individual IT Projects & ensures this is delivered successfully across SSC managed businesses within ABF. Operating as a creative and pragmaticpartner, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to define the case for change with a value add approach. You will have responsibility for:
- Leading projects and programmes end-to-end, from inception and vision creation through to acceptance into service and support
- Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of programmes.
- Managing programme financials.
- Leading and managing internal resource across a matrix organization and across a supplier landscape globally
- Creating and maintaining accurate programme-wide RAID log and ensure that the relevant parties are involved in addressing each factor
- Directly managing experienced project managers and/or workstream leads within the programme of work, mentoring coaching and developing their careers
- Managing the integration of programme outcomes into business-as-usual, addressing the readiness of users, compatibility of work systems, etc
You will be working closely with stakeholders across the ABF businesses as well as external vendors. To be successful in this role we are looking for the following knowledge, and experience:
- Able to work with diplomacy across senior and executive leadership teams.
- Delivered £1-10M IT/Technology projects/programmes on time and on budget.
- Experience across multiple project delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile and hybrid).
- Technical and Infrastructure skills with experience of SD-WAN/Clout transition
- Experience of both on prem/data centre WAN/LAN infrastructure ideally with exposure to transitioning to Cloud infrastructures
- Experienced Line Manager able to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others.
**Location**
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. We are flexible for the right person. There will be a need for you to come into the office a couple times a month but alternatively if you are working on a programme at another business site then they may be a requirementto travel to other sites in the UK and Internationally. Our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park. The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking, free drinkfacilities and a great team culture.
