Technical Manager - St Albans - Salary £35,000-£50,000
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager/Technical Coordinator to join this growing Architectural practice based in St Albans
Due to an out-standing growth within the in-house technical team, this practice is now looking to take on someone to become their in-house Technical Manager This will involve being the technical lead for the St Albans office and supporting the Associate Director& Director within the office itself. The team has grown substantially over the last 12-months and as such, they've decided to open another office in the St Albans area to deal specifically with he Technical side of projects
This would be a great opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician / Technical Coordinator who is looking to make the next step in their career.
Projects wise they work on anything related to the residential developer sector including small-medium and large housing schemes, master planning, town planning and planning packages. Experience working on low-rise Residential projects would be highly advantageous
The Role: Technical Manager
- Reviewing technical drawings, developing house types, block plans and detailed drawings to the construction phase.
- Happy to jump on the computer and prepare and reviewing the layouts, drawings, and preliminary sketches.
- Reviewing and developing House Types and Block Plans
- Overseeing junior staff whilst assisting the Associate Director & Director
- Visit clients regularly and for the right person get involved in Business development.
- Leading your own team of Architectural Technicians as and when they're recruited.
The salary for this position ranges from £35,000 to £50,000 depending on previous experience. This company also offers amazing benefits including company pension scheme, 20 days holiday + Christmas break + all bank holidays
