The company has led the convenience food retail market for years, with a long-standing presence in both the UK and throughout Europe. The business is dedicated to innovation and is strategically placed in multiple UK locations to effectively service and delight its customers.
**About the Graduate Retail Technology Executive job**:
The purpose of your role will be to assist with the management of retail technology suppliers being the initial contact point and managing the relationship and investigating opportunities to grow.
Key tasks
- Support the company’s regional distributors with the retail technology queries for day-to-day activities and issue resolution.
- Build effective relationships with the distributors / suppliers and other key stakeholders to deliver the trading area’s plan.
- Identify and source suppliers for technologies which will be relevant for the company.
- Support in the negotiation of national agreements with suppliers.
- Assist in development trials and report back to the wider network on the success of those trials.
- Review, track and analyse the market both in terms of trends and competitor activity exploiting opportunities whilst managing risks and threats.
**About You**:
You will be a Graduate who is “tech savvy” ideally with some experience of working in retail operations and also an understanding of convenience retailing. In addition, you will:
- Possess the ability to read, review and format numerical information highlighting trends and dependencies.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of contemporary understanding of technology innovation in the retail sector.
- Be able to quickly assimilate information and understand how the business operates.
- Be competent in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
