Chief Financial Accountant required to join an NHS organisation on a full-time temporary basis. My client is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual who is an experienced Chief Financial Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-moving financefunction.

As the Chief Financial Accountant, you will lead the Financial Accounting Team and be responsible for its overall management, performance and development, alongside the duties below;
**Key responsibilities of the Chief Financial Accountant**
- Play a lead role in the monthly reporting process
- Support the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining robust controls and procedures
- Deputise for the Assistant Director of Finance and Deputy Director of Finance as and when required
- Complete and submit the organisations accounts, FTC schedules and other yearend documents
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and balance sheets monthly
- Prepare annual expenditure profile and cash plan

**Required skills and experience of the Chief Financial Accountant**
- CCAB/CIMA qualified or QBE (essential)
- Previous NHS experience (essential)
- Experience in statutory accounts preparation
- Past experience working within a complex financial environment
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Teams and Financial accounting software packages
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- High level of organisational skills
- High level of analytical skills
