Project Engineer WANTED
Salary £35,000- £45,000 (experience dependant)
Based in Great Gransden

**Experience & Qualifications**:
- Experience in a similar role in a process engineering environment ideally in the Food Processing Industry.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, steam services and fluid mechanics along with a basic understanding of electrical control systems would be highly beneficial.
- Ability to use Autocad LT to generate basic 2D equipment layout drawings and plant and instrumentation drawings to present to clients.
**Main Duties**:
The primary duty of the Project Engineer is to take responsibility for contracts from the receipt of order and handover from the Sales team through to successful install and handover.
- The project Engineer will be the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the life of the project, up to, and even beyond, the successful close out of the project.
- The Project Engineer is responsible for Kicking off the internal Project and producing all the necessary project documentation, including (but not limited to) the internal project numbers, Scope of Supply, timing plan, P&ID, and provisional Layout Drawings.
- Once the Project is fully defined, the Project Engineer will be responsible for identifying all standard and non-standard equipment required, such as valves, pumps, motors, sensors, lifting equipment, and 3rd Party items.
- Ensure that the project is run in a finically aware manner, ensuring that design and procurement decisions are made in line the overall project budget.
- The Project engineer will arrange the resources to install the equipment on the customer's site. This may include organizing internal resources, 3rd Party Contractors, or any specialist machinery needed.
