Blue Ribbon Health and Wellbeing is a leading Supported Living Social Care Provider committed to delivering exceptional support services for individuals aged 18 and over with learning disabilities, including autism. We are expanding our team at Blue Ribbon Community and seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop customised packages of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) to meet the unique needs of our service users.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enhance communication for individuals we support through the use of techniques and supportive communication tools.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to staff, promoting best practices and improving the lives of our service users
- Design and implement effective behaviour strategies, ensuring their integration into our services
- Model ‘good practise’ interventions on the front line of services and promote strong staff engagement and skills
- Deliver training sessions to staff, empowering them with the knowledge of best practices
- Lead the assessment, transition, and implementation process for new service users
- Establish comprehensive recording systems for data review and record auditing, resulting in improved outcomes for our service users
- Uphold and shape policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Facilitate the involvement of service users in service delivery and design, promoting their active participation
- Integrate equalities, diversity, and human rights considerations into all aspects of care and support services
- Support managers in staff induction, training, development, and fostering collaborative working practices

**Requirements**:

- Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence
- Preferred qualifications in Positive Behavioural Support, Learning Disability Nursing, or Social Work - Previous experience as an Assistant Psychologist is advantageous
- Proven track record of working with adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting individuals with behaviours of concern
- Proficient in the implementation of PBS and functional assessment to enhance the lives of service users
- Familiarity with communication aids to facilitate effective communication
- Knowledge of CQC requirements and experience in quality assurance processes
- Sound understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and develop others, challenge poor practice, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Understanding of the social care sector, including relevant legal frameworks, regulator expectations, and funding streams
