Skea Egg Farms Ltd is a significant player in the agri-food sector supplying eggs to major retailers in Northern Ireland and mainland UK. We are currently recruiting for the following full-time permanent position based at Skea:
DESPATCH OPERATIVE
Working as part of our existing team, we require full-time Despatch Operatives to assist with the efficient running of our Despatch Department.
**KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Picking, building, scanning and palletising orders for depots.
- Adhering to correct stock rotation procedure.
- Writing pallet sheets for designated depots ensuring all products are accounted for and product totals are correct
- Stacking and strapping shippers
- Loading containers
- Clerical duties associated with the despatch of products.
**ESSENTIAL**:
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- A good level of spoken and written English.
- Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team striving to achieve high levels of customer service.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Lorry loading experience
- Knowledge of pallet trucks (A1 & A2)
Hours: 7am - 4pm (Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturday’s required with day off in lieu the following week and 1 in 6 Sunday’s required from 7.30am to 11.30am
