**Fixed Term Recruitment Advisor - Tendring District Council**
Fixed Term, Full Time
£24,948 to £30,151 per annum
Location: Clacton on Sea
**Please note that this is a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months. This post will be based at the Town Hall, Clacton on Sea but will also have the flexibility for some home working.**
**Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Tendring District Council to recruit into their Town Centre Manager role.**

**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Recruitment Advisor to join our forward thinking HR Team.
**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for someone with significant and varied recruitment experience to support the delivery of a comprehensive and consistent Recruitment function, in line with employment legislation and identified best practice.
You will have knowledge and experience of project management techniques and have a consistent record of building success through effective and productive working relationships. You will also have very effective interpersonal skills and enjoy working collaboratively, with the courage and professionalism to challenge when necessary.
**Accountabilities**:
a) To support the HR Manager in the provision of professional consistent advice to managers and employees on all recruitment related matters.
b) To participate and lead on the specific recruitment project across the Council.
c) To support the creation and development of Council policies relevant to the management of structures, establishments, OD, individual performance management and Learning & Development.
d) To support the senior recruitment and selection process including the placing and agreeing of adverts and the administration of psychometric testing and assessment centres.
e) To support the preparation of reports and presentations for the Management Team, HR Committee as appropriate, in conjunction with the HR Manager, Head of People and the Assistant Director of Partnerships
f) To undertake any other duties consistent with the job purpose as required from time to time.
**The Experience You Will Bring**:
You will be a CIPD Member, ideally qualified to CIPD Level 5 or have significant experience managing a recruitment provision.
