We are The Cheese Lady, an award-winning specialist in farmhouse and artisan cheese, with two shops in East Lothian (Haddington and North Berwick) and a thriving online store.

We're looking for a dependable, thoughtful individuals to join our team as a Cheesemonger & Store Assistant (part-time and full-time roles available in Haddington and N.Berwick).

**About the Role**

This position is ideal for someone seeking meaningful, stable work - not a short-term summer job. Whether you're returning to work, making a career change, or looking for a reliable part-time opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re currently seeking full-time and part-time team members for our North Berwick and Haddington stores.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Customer Service: Offer warm, knowledgeable guidance to help customers explore our carefully curated range of cheeses and fine foods.
- Shop Presentation: Maintain a clean, welcoming and beautifully presented space.
- Stock & Deliveries: Receive and display stock with care and keep the back-of-house tidy and well organised.

- Experienced: You’ve worked in a customer-facing role before - ideally in retail or hospitality - and are confident with basic systems and tasks.
- A Bonus If You’re Creative: Skills in admin, social media, or photography are appreciated, but not essential.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Pay: £12.21/hour during probation (first month), rising to £12.60 from month two.
