**About The Role**:
**Main Responsibilities:
- Ownership of weekly/ monthly accounts
- Ownership of Balance sheet
- Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards and company policies are followed
- Ensure company is kept up to date with external reporting requirements
- Conduct Monthly balance sheet review
- Preparation of rolling financial forecast
- Yearend audit activities
- External reporting
- Identify processes which require re-engineering
- Provide analytical review of both financial and non-financial external returns and financial accounts to ensure reasonableness, consistency and accuracy
- Reporting of fringe benefits
- Review balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare board packs for review at monthly meeting
- Providing commentary to the business to back-up accounts schedules
- Balance sheet reconciliation reviews
- Ensure all statutory requirements are met

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

**About You**:
**Desired Skills and Knowledge**:

- Qualified Accountant
- Experience of recognised ERP system. Preferably IFS
- Excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
- Ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with both colleagues and suppliers
- A lasting commitment to 'doing the job right’ and challenging the status quo
