TRAK Employment Solutions, acting as an employment business, are working with a leading, quality focussed, globally owned company as they look to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative within their busy operation in Gloucester.

**Salary**: £10.50 - £11.50 per hour

**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1700 (40 hours per week)

**Contract type**: Temporary

**Location**: Gloucester - Commutable by bus
- **Please note that due to the type of products our client produces and distributes, you will need to be physically fit as may will be some heavy lifting involved with this role.**_

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To always work in a way that safeguards both your personal safety and the safety of others.
- Accurate completion of all paperwork required to run the warehouse.
- Picking and checking customers’ orders.
- Unloading containers.
- Responsible for highlighting any potential quality issues, including hygiene and damage issues to your manager.
- Completion of necessary process control and quality documented records, in a timely manner (QC Checks).
- Good time keeping and attendance levels essential.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- The ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and machine wraps.
- Basic PC literacy and the ability to use the systems applicable to the warehouse or the capability to use them after suitable training.
- Ability to work in a small team and with mínimal supervision to consistently produce results that hit the targets agreed with our company.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Comfortable with heavy container unloading work.

**PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience using a Counter Balance FLT
- Flexi truck trained **(Advantageous)**:

- Good knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
- Experience in the use of scanning equipment.
- Experience in picking customer orders.
