**Continuous Improvement Specialist**

**Location**: Plymouth, UK

**Salary**: £12.36 per hour + bonus

**Shift**:Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:00

Rittal is the world’s largest manufacturer of enclosures for the electrical, electronic and IT markets.

At our UK engineering and manufacturing facility in Plymouth Devon, Rittal-CSM is currently looking for a Head of Industrial and Process Engineering.

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the responsibilities of the Continuous Improvement Specialist will include:

- Working closely with the Operations department and other members of the Continuous Improvement team in order to drive structured improvements throughout the manufacturing departments.
- Understanding processes and systems through observation and consultation with line leaders.
- Documentation of processes and systems using Work Overview and Job Element sheets to describe how Safety, Quality and Output requirements are achieved.
- Generating and rolling out WOS and JES to various manufacturing departments and updating existing documentation where required.

**Essential**:

- Proficient with MS Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A methodical and structured approach.
- Work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative.
- Maths and English at GCSE level 3.

**Desirable**:

- Experience of working in a standardised work controlled environment.
- Photo manipulation skills.
