**Based at the Borehamwood campus, c**ourses will also be delivered at the Welwyn Garden City and St Albans campus and other surrounding areas**

Oaklands College, Adult and Community Learning team which is based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, is looking for an experienced and qualified Mindfulness tutor to deliver short Mindfulness courses as part of our Step2Skills funded community provision. In addition, we also require skills to deliver Mindfulness for Self-Care: Resilience building skills and Compassion - Build Inner Strengths courses.

These short courses are usually delivered over five to six weeks (**2 hours per lesson**) during the academic year to community partner groups, which may include students with learning difficulties and disabilities as well as the general public. Ideally you will have previous experience in delivering such courses. Courses are delivered at our Campuses and community venues in the areas stated, so your own transport is essential.

The successful applicant should have a high level of experience in the area of Mindfulness with relevant qualifications and ideally a relevant teaching qualification e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent. However, a formal teaching qualifications is not essential as training can be provided. An ability to deal effectively with the necessary quality paperwork associated with funded programmes is desirable.
