**Platform Resourcing** are currently working in partnership with an **Insurance Provider **who have offices based in South Wales. Due to success and growth within the business, they are now seeking a **Claims Administrator** to join the team.
This is an interesting and varied position, where you will be managing a caseload of claims to support from first notification of loss, all the way to settlement. You will be taking detailed accounts from the customer and third parties, negotiating on behalf of the customer to find who is at fault, discussing repairs and settlements and working with fraud, personal injury and other areas of the business to provide expert advice and greta service.
No 2 claims will be the same, and you will be using case law and various evidence to support your findings and conclusions. You will have great customer service and administration skills, with a passion to learn and develop within your career.
**Benefits and Salary Package Details**
- Competitive salary on offer, up to £21,000 p/a
- Hours of work: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, 2 shifts at 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am - 1pm where you will then get the time back for)

**Duties and Responsibilities of the Claims Administrator**
- Responding to policy holder enquiries and correspondence in professional manner
- Providing reassurance and supporting our customers through the claims process
- Establishing the circumstances of a claim and making the appropriate enquiries to ensure an understanding of the situation
- Negotiating the settlement of claims in an efficient and economical manner
- Where a vehicle requires repair, you’ll be promoting and ensuring the use of our approved supply chain
- Pursuing the recovery of Underwriters outlay or negotiating the settlement of third-party claims
- Building a knowledge of our products and services to become an expert in your field
- Acting as a key liaison between the business and our customers providing regularly updates on every stage of the process
**Essential experience for the **Claims Handler**
- Strong relationship building skills, able to build positive relationships with our customers
- Clear, responsive interpersonal skills able to step up to the challenge of working across a broad range of audiences in writing, on the phone
- A keen eye for detail and able to check your own work and your colleagues
- A deep understanding of good customer service
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong ability to prioritise and deliver
- The desire to continually improve ways of working
