Gully Sucker

**We are currently recruiting for a Drainage Operative for our client based in West Drayton. My client is a waste management company.**

You would be working Mon-Fri on a day shift.

The shift will run mainly from 5:30AM, but you would need to be flexible as the start time may vary.

**Pay: £11.50p/h**

You will be part of a busy team where you and your driver will go to local areas and check drains for any damage or blockages, you will report anything that you see. If it is blocked, you will need to use the equipment attached to the lorry to help unblock the drain. You will be required to lift manholes which can be heavy so you must be physically fit.

**What your duties will include**:

- Clearing drains and investigating any repairs needed
- Assisting with using high pressure washer
- Will involve some heavy lifting
- Operating the GIS Trimble unit
- Reacting to any emergency work that is required
- Holding a valid CSCS card is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience within a similar role is a bonus
- Have a good work ethic.
- Happy with heavy lifting if required.
