Nursery Assistant

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Assistant / Apprentice to join our team. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the nursery room and ensuring the well-being and development of the children in your care. This is a rewarding role that requires a strong and nurturing nature, and a passion for early childhood education.
**Duties**:
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and development
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
**Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience of working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership abilities
- A patient, caring, and nurturing demeanor
- The ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with ease
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
