**About the role**:
Reporting into the Senior HR Advisor, this HR Advisor role will play a key part in supporting our operations by providing advisory services and supporting colleagues with a wide range of HR and welfare related issues.
The role offers an opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the business. Providing full support across the end-to-end cycle for weekly paid employees. The HR Advisor will cover HR issues in relation to HR policies, procedures and best practices including disciplinaries, grievances, employment law and performance management.
The HR Advisor will also play a key part in supporting management on site with project work, absence management, communication strategies and driving colleague engagement. Providing opportunities for growth and development in all areas.
The role will also be tasked with supporting with several administrative systems. Such as shift transfers, new starters, and leavers. A strong eye for detail and proficiency with HR and IT systems will therefore be essential for the role.
**About You**:
To succeed in this HR Advisor role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a knowledge of HR policies and procedures within a fast-paced ER and Recruitment role. Experience of a unionised manufacturing site will also be essential, ideally within Food Manufacturing.
This will be a diverse, fast paced role and strong time management, administrative and organisational skills will be a must, alongside the stakeholder management and communication skills needed to build effective relationships with teams.
Familiarity with HR systems such as payroll, absence and sickness management and performance management trackers would also be useful
A formal HR qualification such as CIPD would be preferred but is not essential.
