**We are Premium Power Units and we are recruiting.**

Premium Power Products Ltd (PPU), a small electric motors sales and repair company based in Clydebank, Glasgow, require a Full Time Workshop Technician for immediate start.

PPU distribute industrial electrical and mechanical products, especially electric motors and pumps, to industrial customers throughout Scotland and carry out repairs and modifications in-house.

Established for over 30 years and is a subsidiary of Park Gate & Co Ltd based in Carlisle.

**About the role**:
We are excited to be recruiting for a full-time **Workshop Technician / Assistant** at our Glasgow premises

You will be offered a multitude of training and progression opportunities within the company as your experience progresses.

You will be workshop based, assisting the workshop supervisor in all duties such as:

- Stripping motors, gearboxes, pumps etc.
- Cleaning parts
- Assembly
- Testing Electro / Mechanical items
- Delivering parts and goods as and when required

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on individual who has a keen interest in the electromechanical field and has:

- Previous experience in electrical motors or mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in a mechanical environment

**It would be great if you had experience in the following**: Engineer, Engineering Technician, Mechanic, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering
