I am looking for a Fully Qualified Teacher to work as a Class Teacher for a Special Education Needs school in Berkshire.

About the school:
It is a through, day special school.The school provides education for up to 40 pupils aged 4-19, who benefit from small group and individualised learning and have communication and interaction difficulties, Autistic spectrum conditions and learning needs. Weaim to help each child enjoy education which will enable them to be successful members of the school and wider communities. We treat each child as an individual by ensuring the learning opportunities are challenging and engaging.

Main Purpose:

- Work with the Head and Deputy Head Teacher to deliver a sequenced curriculum which builds knowledge and skills towards agreed end points
- Effectively monitor the progress of each pupil, checking their understanding systematically and effectively, putting in place clearly directed and timely interventions

Personal Attributes:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS/PGCE).
- Experience of successful class/group teaching responsibility.
- Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
- Experience of Special Education and a passion for working with pupils with SEN and a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties
- A commitment to positive behaviour management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
